CNA Classes and Training in Miami, Florida

There is a wide disparity between CNA training requirements among the individual states, and Florida is no different. This difference lies in the mandatory number of total training hours necessary to complete the state-approved CNA classes.

While according to federal law, each nursing assistant course should contain a minimum of seventy-five (75) instruction and clinical hours, individual states have the liberty to mandate extra training requirements for the certified nursing assistant. Much of these differences are based on the experiences learned in the field with respect to the different kind of patients that are typically treated within a specific state. Therefore, the states usually use this liberty to design their courses to meet this challenge that is obvious among the states. The majority of the states exceed the threshold that the federal government mandates for their certified nursing assistant programs.

I have been a CNA in the state of California since 1995. One of my passions in life is to help people and help others who want to expand their careers and become CNAs.

Hi, My name is Jessica and I am currently about to be a mother of 2 young children (May 2012). I have an associates degree in medical billing and coding, but it seems that I can not find anything that will hire me without experience. So, I have been looking in to CNA classes. I would really like to get me certification, but the only thing is that I’m looking for somewhere where they will give me free training. I want to better my children life’s and give them something I never could have as a child. I’ve always wanted to go into the medical field and if this is a way that I can get started it would be great. If you could send me some kind of information on how to go about getting my certification (not online) I would be extremely thankful.
